Affordable grow light recommendations(in US)? Preferably rechargeable but I couldn’t find good reviews on any. Should I take a wired one?

    Any light that’s worth anything will be wired. I use barrina lights. T5s are really affordable and work well for most plants.

    Wired or light socket are the way to go imo. For freestanding lights, LBW are my favorites. Sansi grow bulbs have been great in my ceiling light

    I personally don’t recommend barrina t5s they aren’t strong enough so need to be very close to your plant. I’m need to look for a better one myself Definitely do not get a rechargeable one. When it dies your plant will have to go without light while you charge it and it could just die while you’re out. Seems too much hassle to me 😂 I really like the look at the hanging ones, the one with a proper bulb and so far I’ve seen they’re so much stronger and give off better PPFD

      Google “hanging grow light” you can put shades on them so they fit the aesthetic of your room aswell or just leave them the way they are. I won’t lie they are more expensive but the bulbs you can put in them are so much better! I’m just trying to justify it with buying one 😂 Have a look at the website, grow gang

    Unfortunately affordable and quality are directly correlated. An affordable light isn’t going to do crap for most plants. Personally I think the best option for rechargeable is the new little pucks that barrina recently released. I wouldn’t still recommend those as corded lights just have so many more options, sizes, color spectrums, etc. A T8 bulb is one of the best options and you can get them for “workshop” spaces and they typically run cheaper that way. I have about 6 pack of them for about 80$ and they have been so powerful I had to take some plants and move them to other places in my home.
