Curious when sone 6 people usually brings their houseplants inside for the winter. I think I’ll do it this week - low of 39 Wednesday, just wondering if anyone else has a rule of thumb.

When its below 50 degrees F consistently i take my plants in, however, this year i took them in at 40 degrees F and they were just fine.
1 gillaLook up the temperature ranges for your plants. Bring them in when the temperature is below the lowest they can handle. Most of my plants are tropical varieties. I bring them in before the temperatures reach around 55°F. I rarely bring in my monstera, jasmine, tradescantia, some spider plants and my ponytail palm. See the photos. They have been outside many years. I bring them in when the temperature drops to freezing. 🥶 They have acclimated to within temperatures above freezing levels. 🪴🍀
1 gillaEveryone is inside and dispersed throughout the house to avoid the whole jungle feel. Let’s see if hubs notices when he comes home from work travel! 🙀
