I’m new to the app and enjoying it. I do have a question about light. There is nothing to indicate that a site gets a lot of indirect light. I have a sun room which has east and west facing windows and a large south facing siding glass door. There is very little direct sun (we live in the woods) but the room is filled with bright indirect light all day. Currently I have things set to part sun/part shade but that is not really accurate. Is there a better way to indicate bright indirect light?

I have to use the distance to light bar to try and to get it as close to actual light as i can without the indirect option. Its also frustration that grow lights are a premium only option.

the app automatically determines that all indoor light is indirect and all outdoor light is direct, there is no way to change the settings on that as far as i know. the shade/ part sun/ full sun are describing what direction the window faces. a south window is full sun, east and west are part shade, and north is full shade. some argue west windows can be considered full sun if you live in a hot climate. i'm honestly not a fan of "bright indirect" or "medium direct" descriptors and the like, they're too ambiguous and everyone's definition is different

I don't have any answers because I've been wondering this myself! I'm so glad you asked this question and will follow for replies.

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but you can choose your own light setting for each individual plant or use the light meter
