Any tips on caring for a basil plant? This is my first one and itās been quite the journey. It grew tall super fast and now has been falling over. I have some tied to a stick but itās still leaning a lot & the leaves just always look sad. Iāve had it inside and outside and itās the same, Iām going to put it in a bigger pot but not sure that will helpā¦.

Iāve killed every basil thatās come into my home. I can keep my calathea white fusion alive easier than a basil plant lol š¤·š¼āāļø

Maybe a slightly bigger pot, more sunlight and some fertiliser will help.
1 gillaYouād want to search this but I wonder if you chop the top a bit of it would branch out more? I know a lot of plants do this but not sure about basilā¦?????

repot may help. try chopping & propping, worked for me!
1 gilla What is the best to prop this one? Did you do water or put it directly into the soil? Or something else?
0 gillningar directly in water. took about 3 weeks for my cuttings to root, and i put them in the same pot as the mother plant.
