Just got this "money treeā€ today and there is a twist tie around the braided or twisted trunk. Question is, do I leave it or remove it??? Any advice appreciated.

    Itā€™s up to you. Itā€™s just there to keep the trunks together. Thereā€™s probably a band around the bottom too, maybe beneath the soil.

    There is most definitely band in the soil and it will kill it, so be sure to cut that one. The one up top is fine but make sure itā€™s not too tight
