Hey I got a “bonsai” pine tree grow kit and the instructions say to leave in tissue paper in the fridge for 2-5 weeks until they have sprouted seedlings and then plant them… its almost up to the 5 week mark (in 4 days) and they don’t seem to be doing any sprouting.. should I leave them in there for longer until they show signs of life or could I plant them in pots now? If I plant them now, would they grow?

My friend did this. You should keep it in longer.

Try to make sure it’s in a warm spot?

This is called hypernation I’m doing the same for my lavender rn if they haven’t shown any germinating past the minimum time you could try planting half of them in a warm spot and the other u leave in the fridge for longer. This hybertating process only heightens the chances for the germination likelynes it doesn’t guarantee germination(apparently). Hope this helps 💚
