Should I water all my pants from the bottom are just water from top with can ?

    Bottom watering definitely keeps the fungus gnats down. Most of mine are bottom watered, although I water from the top about once a month or so to give the soil a good flush from mineral buildup.

    I agree with the previous commenters that mixing it up can give you the best of both worlds. Some plants I only bottom-water, like tradescantia, because they don't like wet leaves, but with everything else I mix it up.

      String of ANYTHING should also be bottom watered for best results

    I normally like to bottom water but recently added from the top specifically when I do gnat treatments.

    bottom watering is preferable, but i do get impatient if they take too long to absorb the water and sometimes i just drown them so i can take them back to their spots already LOL
