I have this very large satin pothos sharing a pot with a pothos n joy and they are doing great. The only thing is after 1 month a growth my santon pothos grew 2 feet and is now touching the ground. I want to chop the new growth off and propagate it so it looks even with my pothos n joy. I really don’t want my cuttings or mother plant to die what is the best way to propagate and feel to share any tips!

WOW she’s stunning!! Locate several good nodes with a healthy leaf, and only taking a few cuttings at a time so the plant doesn’t get stressed. I get my best results rooting in perlite or water — perlite makes the roots come in stronger and the transition to soil way easier. 🌱☺️

Ok thank you! When got this plant about few months ago and repotted it it had little to no roots itself (maybe 4 inch per cutting) would that effect how much I can cut off without giving stress

from my experience, any pothos or pothos-adjacent plants will root like CRAZY! just know that chopping will make the mother plant produce new branches, giving it a more bushy look instead of long and trailing.
