I think Planta is confused. It keeps telling me to fertilize plants it told me to stop after preparing for winter. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

    Iā€™ve gone down to half strength the past month. By the end of the month, Iā€™m going down to 1/4 strength. I assume Iā€™ll be at that level until spring, but thatā€™s just a guess. Maybe someone could clarify that. Planta should probably include an automatic mixing schedule for the seasons.

      Thatā€™s a great idea. Iā€™ll do that with the plants then. This is my first year with outdoor plants that need to be winterized. Thank you!

    Iā€™m with Jen! I fertilize all year I just switch from weekly to about monthly! I use the ~1/3 strength year round

    I read recently to switch to a fertilizer with lower nitrogen content for the winter. Apparently itā€™s less likely to stimulate new growth if the nitrogen is lower.

    I donā€™t fertilize my dormant plants in winter so I change the settings to custom and never for the cold period.
