    Just an observation…if you have fungus gnats you might want to consider putting “Mosquito Dunks” in your watering can. Make a tea (let it sit for 15-20 mins) then water and viola! It kills the larva in the soil. If there are a ton of adults like I did before these dunks, I put a clear tape over the top pot to catch them when they tried and fly out (and breed in my other plants). I break them in half.
