Within the past week, after getting this baby home, I repotted from a 4 inch nursery to a 13 inch for the anticipated growth. But the leaves are looking like it’s having problems.. please help..

    it seems like the pot is too big for this plant… the pot should only be twice the size of the plant’s root ball or you risk overwatering and root rot because there’s not enough roots to soak up all the moisture in the soil. going from a 4 inch nursery pot to a 13 inch pot is a big jump! 6-8 inches would be more than enough space for a 4 inch rootball. whenever you’re able to, i’d repot it into a smaller pot. it may stay sad looking for a while because of the shock from repotting twice but at least you won’t have a dead plant 😅

    The pot is entirely too big. You only go up 2 inches in diameter of the root ball when you repot. Therefore when you water that’s too much soil to try and dry out around the root ball
