Ok so I cut a few leaves on my monstera that were far too tiny few days ago. Today Iâm looking at them and I see this kind of watery liquid where I chopped anyone know why or whatâs happening? (Very new plant mom btw)
Ok so I cut a few leaves on my monstera that were far too tiny few days ago. Today Iâm looking at them and I see this kind of watery liquid where I chopped anyone know why or whatâs happening? (Very new plant mom btw)
Itâs healing :). Because theyâre still apart of the parent root system the plant has moisture in it. The moisture is escaping through the âwoundâ. These ends will callous over with time.

0 gillningarYou didnât make a mistake. But no, new leaves wonât grow from there. Itâs okay to remove the small original leaves, it will put its energy into the more mature leaves now.
