Hey! So I got both these plants off somebody and they donāt seem to be doing to well. Iāve followed everything with them and did research but unfortunately nothing I did seemed to work. Any tips? And Hoya speckled wax plant.

Looks like a possible light/clodness issue
1 gillabeforehand they were on a porch, I donāt know for how long but it did get pretty cold overnight. I got them 2 weeks ago maybe?. I did move them into my bedroom but my room does get pretty hot and when I tried putting them in there , the ruby came out like that so I brought it back downstairs and I felt like I did something wrong there bringing it into a hot room. First the leaves were drooping which was from the cold, and then bedroom and well.. yeah like I said it just looks like that now so I donāt know if sheās save able š¤·āāļø.
1 gillaItās ok it happens to the best of us!!! But yeahhhhhh, idk if that Ruby is going to make it tbh. Once the growth points (the pointy bits that unroll and run into leaves) turn brown and gross, itās almost a for sure sign itās dying. Hope for the best and lots of light and love. Keep us posted š«”
0 gillningarwhat I was thinking to & Well.. sheās completely naked , I took the leaves off hoping to start new with it šwill keep posted Ty!
0 gillningarIs that new growth on the tippy top?! That could be your saving grace. Cut that at the node. I usually check the roots if I get a new plant from someone. If it looks healthy, maybe cut and propagate sections. Not sure about the photo on the Right. But good check roots too
1 gillaThey are pretty dark but I did cut it and planted them so Iām hoping!! The roots on the Ruby are yellow , unsure about the Hoya as they are as thin as string and couldnāt also see cause of the amount of dirt piled on as much as I tried to take some off.
0 gillningarYou could prune and mist but also I would propagate both of them
