How to propagate this type of plant? Mine is in water and it’s still not growing
1 gillahello!! which plant are you referring to so i can help you with what i can :) are you talking about the monstera or the alocasia corm? :)
0 gillningarThe one in the picture at the top
1 gillayes!! the one at the very top is a monstera deliciosa, it’s just a baby :) when we propagate a monstera we gotta be sure there is a petiole and has to be cut right underneath where the node would be. i’ll show a pic of a propagated one i have myself
0 gillningarso i’ve had this cutting in water since halloween and it’s just now starting to give me some good roots and secondary roots. we just be sure to have the front of the petiole facing your window or other light source, and i just fill the water to just above the node right where that aerial root is starting to form
0 gillningarSo none of mine have the nodes I was trying to save them because they broke off my very healthy plant
1 gillaSo what do you think I should do
0 gillningarcould you send a picture of what you have already propagated please?
