I'm so sorry for your loss. Snake plants are very easy and thrive even when neglected a bit. š
1 gillaThank you!!!! Iām struggling, but Iām ok. Thatās good to know. Iām having a hard time judging how much water to give them when it is time to water them.
0 gillningarYeah I know what you mean. I donāt have snake plants but start with spray bottle.
1 gillaYou have my deepest condolences! May this beautiful plant serve as a memorial for her! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

1 gillaSo very sorry for loss. Snakes are easy just donāt give them too much water. They like to be dry and crowded.
3 gillningarMy mom just past a year and half ago. The early stage of that can be hard šŖ but is will get better. Also I just joined today as well. I order a 6 ft 5 tall 4-ft wide plant stand for my living room and it comes with plant lights it can hold 10 plants. I also have ordered 14 different types of indoor sapling plants. This will be a good attorney for me being that this is my first time taking care of that many plants at once and I'm looking forward to the journey. Plus I'm on vacation for 3 months and I figured this would be something good to do during my time off
2 gillningarSo sorry for your loss and snake plants are a succulent so it doesnāt need frequent watering I know because I have one

I lost my mom last year. Iām so sorry for your loss but itās wonderful that you have this plant to remember her by.
1 gillaSorry for your loss. The plant will be a nice way to remember her. Snake plants kind of like to be neglected. And dry out completely between waterings. Itās hard to say how much to give them in terms of water. Start small.
1 gillaI fully water mine on the days that I water making sure every inch of soil is wet. then I wait about 3 weeks in between watering until all of the soil is completely dry (I check using a chopstick or something that can reach the bottom). you can also tell if it needs water because the leaves will be a little less stiff
1 gillaThank you thatās good info
0 gillningarLoss is never easy. Honestly, time doesnāt even take away the pain but you learn to adjust to your new normal and that will become more routine with time. Cherish the memories! And Iām happy that you inherited her favorite plant. As others have said, snake plants are easy as long as you donāt overwater them. I allow mine to completely dry in between waterings and I keep them in well draining soil. They are very easy to propagate too! š„° Wishing much success.
