Does anyone have any idea why my yucca leaves are turning yellow?? I’ve had her for over 2 years and have never had this issue before. I only water her about every 2 weeks and she’s under a grow light that’s further away for 4hr per day. The only thing that’s changed is I took her outer plastic pot off and put her into this wicker basket recently. Do you think that could be it?
I wonder if the wicker is holding onto a bit of extra moisture somehow… Interesting especially since she’s been fine for two years with no other changes 🤔
0 gillningar I was thinking that! But I checked inside and it was dry. So I’m stumped :/ the wicker basket is also lined with plastic. So idk if that adds to anything
1 gilla Wow what a stumper! 🥲 Maybe the wicker and plastic layers are creating extra humidity or there’s something in the wicker like a chemical or something that she doesn’t like. But it looks like it was meant to be a planter plus it’s got the plastic so that would be weird if that was the case. I am sending you and your Bb the goodluck and healing vibes 💚
0 gillningar I just had a thought too maybe the plastic is creating a seal inside where the drainage holes are. It’s such a pretty planter tho I would also hate to get dirt on it. I would try swapping the plastic for a mesh or something to sit in between the pot and planter!🤔
