What is the best potting soil mix I can buy for my house plants? I’m new to houseplants and I have 2 plants that isn’t doing good cause I think I put the wrong potting soil in the pots. So I use garden magic potting soil I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. Please any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you all.
What kind of plants are they? That will help with figuring out what soil you need.

Spider and heart leaf.
1 gilla Not too sure about the heart leaf, but the spider plant may just be too crowded. Mine seem happiest with 3 plants/babies in one pot, maybe separate that guy a bit but for soil I like potting mix with a little Pete moss. Hope that helps!

1 gilla Really? I sure hope so. Ugh! Maybe I just need to leave them alone. I hate being a beginner with plants but I love them I just hate that I don’t know what I’m doing lol
1 gilla I hear ya. I’ve killed many plants in my past b/c I always felt like I should be doing something. Main thing I’ve learned so far with plants/gardening is PATIENCE… it’s soo hard🤦🏻♀️
0 gillningarI think your potting mix should be just fine. Do your plants have lots of indirect bright light?
1 gilla Yes I don’t have many windows in my house so i take turns with the plants I’m going to bye a plant stand today and a growing lamp so hopefully that will help
0 gillningarYes, a grow light will help!Your heart leaf may need a larger pot, too. When I can’t find answers, to foliage questions, I show pictures to our garden center professionals. That has always seemed helpful! Is your heart leaf dry, or wet, to the touch?

0 gillningarDepending on your watering schedule, it may be overwatered. Or maybe you recently watered it. Either way, try letting it dry out between waterings. Water only when the top soil is very dry to the touch. That, and a larger pot 🤞🏻
