Successful SOP parents ! A couple questions 😅 why are some of my beads drying up but the rest of the string is fine ? How often do you water, bottom watering ? Are we leaving them outside or no ? I’ve killed about 3 now so I need your advice ! 😆

I’ve brought mine inside for winter, and I bottom water about once a month. Squeeze the beads, if they feel squishy they need water but if they are firm leave them be and check again in a few days

Thanks ! What if parts of them are squishy but the bottom half is firm 😅

Depending on when you last watered I would leave it be for a few more days. They’ll bounce back much better if they’ve been a little under watered instead of over

I leave mine outside but I'm fortunate enough that I don't get freezing temperatures. It gets direct sun until early afternoon and I water it every 2-3 weeks. It's been non stop flowering lately too.

Nice ! It gets to about low 40s at night I’m in zone 9b I believe and I’m afraid of it not surviving in the cold 😆 I’m deathly afraid of it being overwatered and also don’t know how to go about repotting or if I should, it’s in original pot and soil.

It drops down to high 30s every rare now and then where I am and this time of year could be a 30 degree difference between night and day where it regularly drops to mid 40s. All of my succulents are outside and I've never had an issue with the low temperatures with any of them. We will get frost every few years and they have survived that too. I think with the warmer days helps balance it all out is my though/guess

Oh ok ! Yeah I brought all my plants in cuz we got some heavy rain a few days in a row, it’s so back and forth today it’s really nice 69 degrees and sunny but I bet next week we’ll have rain 😅 I guess it’s just a balance haha
