Back when I first got into a bit ‘harder’ plants, I bought one of these and it immediately kneeled over and died (I didn’t know what I was doing with it). Never did it ‘pray’ (where the leaves go up at night) even once. Fast forward to now after having more experience with calatheas, alocasias, etc, I bought another yesterday and in the day, it progressively got droopier which I worried about but now that the sun has set and the lights have come off, the leaves are coming up again! It’s praying - it’s alive!!!! I just hope it stays alive lol. ‘Prayer plant’ for all the prayers that it stays alive.

    When I first got mine it did great for a few months and then all of a sudden it dropped all its leaves except 3. I switched to distilled water with a few drops of super thrive and now it puts out at least 3 leaves a week 😁
