Hm yes and no. While usually accurate Iâve noticed they can be a bit picky with some plants. Ex: carnivorous Nepenthes, I have been told and researched, love direct sunlight but the app tells me having it in my south facing window is too brightâŠ? So yes and no lol what plant?

9 gillningarNope lol, not one bit, it gives you a very very rough draft guideline but thatâs about all. Iâd say use the âurgentâ watering reminders as times to just check the soil with your finger, chopstick, or soil moisture meter. If itâs wet or very moist do not water and just snooze the reminder or sometimes I skip till next time. Lighting id go off of google research than the app, Iâve heard some people try to use the light meter on this app and pointing it directly at a full sun south facing window (if youâre in the northern hemisphere) and it tells you thereâs not enough light.

agreed with above!! iâm an under-waterer, meaning i water less frequently to avoid root rot, and i live in a humid environment so i donât need to water as often as the app suggests even though i have my location/environment settings up to date! lighting - NO haha i have so many indoor plants that do well in lighting that the app says is way too dark. overall it really depends on your own location and indoor temps and watering habits!
1 gillaI keep getting a warning that my Thai basil canât be outside đ I always check if it sounds wrong. I had a problem with an update changing all my settings once too.
