WTF?!? These two critters popped up in my big corn plant suddenly in the last few days. This is an indoor plant but about once every 10 days I bring it outside to water it and let it drain for several hours.

Those look like they may be a type of mushroom. I could be wrong though.

0 gillningarThose are just some mushrooms. It’s probably been slowly growing a mycelia network through the soil and only now started fruiting as it likes the conditions
1 gillaThanks!!Is this a bad thing?
1 gillaNot on its own but it can sometimes be a symptom of another issue. Usually due to overwatering which causes root rot, but sometimes the mushroom just likes the environment at the moment. I have some kind of mushroom growing out of my hanging pothos planter inside the apartment. Shriveled up and died before I even noticed it
1 gillaThank you so much!
0 gillningarFlowerpot parasol. It's harmless to plants. If you have pets or kids, don't let them eat it; it can cause stomach upset
1 gillaGreat info! Thanks!
1 gillaSo should remove these mushrooms?
0 gillningarOnly if you don’t like to see them.
