Meet Poppy Pearl. I got her recently and she isnt that strong and has lost so many of her stems and leaves. I’m being so gentle with her now. But is that the tendency of this type of plant?

Use a pole to make it straight
2 gillningarMist at the roots to water
2 gillningarDo no touch it and make sure there is no strong winds around it
2 gillningarNever expected this tiny plant to be so demanding 😂 I’m soooo careful with it. It’s now higher up so it doesn’t get touched. Not like my other plants that thrive off of “interactions”
1 gillaLol welcome to Peperomia 😂🙏🏼😇 a year ago I went wild and invested in an entire collection of Peperomia. Let's just say that collection dwindled haha. I will be honest Peperomia are like tropical grass 😂 they reproduce by just breaking apart and spreading themselves etc. They love bright light and humidity! They need good drainage and to drain well. They often to not grow in a picture perfect Rosette like you get from the nursery 😂 of course they vary plant too plant and variety to variety I've managed to maintain a few really cute ones. The hardy leafy varieties are a lot more resilient
2 gillningarOoooohhhk great to know. Thank you for this long story as it really made me feel not alone. It seemed like a cute idea but she’s my most fragile plant 🪴 and now I have more insights. 💕
2 gillningarIt's better to have a few that you can really place well and curate constantly from my experience. 360 degrees bright light and pruning and shaping. They are darling when they get it just right
0 gillningarOk thank you Limited space, so I feel like I’m at capacity right now.
