Any suggestions on how to get her to show me love in return? She’s in a chunky mix with perlite, orchid bark mix and indoor soil, she’s in my master bedroom (most humid room) in a south facing window and has been fertilized this last week. I have had her two months and haven’t seen much other then microscopic nubsđŸ«  am I missing something?! Help!😬

Hoya kerrii is notoriously slow growing. Hoyas also often need time to “feel out” their environment before they put energy into growing. If you see a long tendril, that’s a scout. It’s checking to see if an area is suitable for supporting leaf growth. If the spot is good, new leaves will grow from the tendril. 😊

all hoya are slow growers, it's just a characteristic of the genus. these ones tend to be even slower

No, I have many hoyas that don’t do anything for a long time and randomly they will just start taking off when they feel like it. Your mix and light are good just be very careful about watering. Err on the side of less is best. Don’t water on a schedule. One day it will take off and possibly flower but for now it’s a very long waiting game. Fertilizer wouldn’t hurt just be careful about strength. You can also take it outside depending on where you live. I am in the southeast and put my hoyas on my deck for the summer. If you take it outside just gradually acclimate it and don’t place it in direct sun.
