this pink princess philodendron was just gifted to me! looks like the first order of business is putting it into a smaller, more appropriate pot. it also looks like the stem of the unfurling leaf is broken... do i leave it be or remove it? any thoughts or general advice is greatly appreciated as this is my first philo and pink princess. tyia!
The stem looks like it’s just bent as it’s unfurling, not like it’s broken. Mist it a bit to help it get out

I wouldnt cut or do much. Maybe a repot but I tend to think is it's 5" or smaller it might be fine I just gave my black cherry pink princess a pole to climb so that is something to consider. I purchased 3D printed hexagonal towers with threading so they can be extended and I filled them with new Zealand sphagnum moss, it's gorgeous stuff to have around anyways!
