Can someone tell me why my ficus Audrey is doing this? It is only on the tips of the leaves. The very top of the new growth is great. The newest leaves at the top are doing good. They don’t have brown tips, but they feel a little paper. They look a little curled.

Could be a number of things. How often are you watering? You might want to try letting soil dry out a little more between waterings. If you already do that, then go the opposite way and try more frequent watering (i water my ficus when it’s dry half-way down). If that doesn’t work, it could be fungal. 🙏🏼

I never thought about being fungal. But wouldn’t the fungal be because I might be over or underwater?

I haven’t learned enough about fungals to know a lot of details. Sometimes fungal can be a part of the makeup of the soil and not necessarily about watering. But when I’ve ruled out watering issues and pest issues, fungal is my next thought. Once I’ve ruled out the others, I use a fungicide spray or research natural/organic fungal remedies.
