Who has plants that are strictly under grow lights? What is your PPFD reading? Ive had the same set up but as I get more plants and need to play musical plants, I find placing them all on the right tier is getting tough with finding the right spot...for the right plant...with the right PPFD. Ive been messing around with it and now ive added individual halo lights to some plants. Any suggestions with light set ups to have as minimal lights as possible? I "think" if I added a fourth hanging light that would resolve my problem. Thoughts? Pictures for motivation? And please do not judge the picture too hard. Thats the result of two straight days of moving things around and still not knowing what I want. Lol

Thank you so so much for that. When all of the clutter is pit away I will take a better one.

I love this set up but I have way too many plants to even attempt this. The lights, have you tried hanging bar lights as opposed to circular ones?

Ive thought about those. Not allowed to hang anything from ceiling due to it have the old fashion ceiling heat

I have some growing exclusively under grow lights in my greenhouse cabinet, but you’re fancier than me using ppfd! I want to upgrade to a PAR light meter that can read ppfd, but for now I still have my cheap light meter that just does foot candles. So, idk if it helps you, but I try to make sure my plants are getting anywhere from 200-1000+ foot candles depending on their light preferences. As far as set ups with the fewest number of lights possible, my best advice is to splurge on really nice grow lights because not all grow lights are created equal. By using my light meter, I’ve learned that just one Barrina grow light (my go to brand) is as effective as 3-4 cheap grow lights off Amazon. Soltech is even better and just one of their pendant lights covers a lot of area. So, yeah, it’s more expensive, but honestly worth it. Maybe you already have quality grow lights and it’s just that big of an area/that many houseplants you’re working with, but I figure it’s worth mentioning just in case. That being said, I’m all about using what you already have when you can!
