Does anyone have any tips for successfully growing begonias from seed? My last two attempts have failed. 😣 I finally got some seed pods from my ferox and I’m down to my last one.

Keep the soil moist (but not wet) and never let it get dry, because seeds will die if they are left to dry and need constant moisture to be able to grow and sprout. This is universal for all seeds.

It’s a rare type of begonia called begonia Ferox. They are my favorite but they are really finicky!😅
2 gillningarThey really are! I have two and a melanobullata. And talk about princesses 😆
1 gillaI havent grown begonia from seeds. But it's similar to anthurium. Where you don't bury them. And keep them in high high humidity. I do mine in small deli cups, moisten the media, press the seeds on top and cap off. then when they get taller, I take the lid off, and put them in a dessert cup with a lid. And then acclimate to lower humidity after they have a few leaves.
1 gillaOh i also open the cups every few days for air exchange. Other than that it's just waiting several weeks for them to sprout
