Sheās growing a new leaf after shedding all but one leaf before winter. Iām super proud and excited to see scruffy grow more leaves. Anything I can do to help encourage more leaves on the stem?

cherrbearš»hooray! ficus love a ton of light so iād recommend putting her in a very bright spot, that spot near the window in the old photo seems good! iāve had surprising results with keiki paste! itās a growth hormone in wax form & it helps encourage growth in places where the plant probably wouldnāt re-grow leaves on its own, like further down a stem. you score under the nodes & apply a bit of it & wait. after a few weeks you hopefully will see some new growth! iād try 2-3 nodes at a time so you donāt overwhelm her. iād also suggest making sure sheās getting good fertilizer now that sheās working on new leaves š

Ouuu yes Iāve heard about that but now I will try it! Thank you so much for your help! Iām super excited! Yes she sits in the window I took her away just so she doesnāt fry her new leaf. I will put her right next to the window so she still has bright indirect light!
