Hi ! I wanna buy some grow lights for my plants, since my appartement does not let a lot of light in, my question is, do I leave them on 24/7 or do I turn them off at some point, if yes, better on at night or during the day ? Thank you so much !

At minimum 12 hours. I have a couple that run 14 hours. I run mine during the day. There have been studies that show that plants don’t do so well with 24/7 light. They are kinda like us. They need 8 hours or so of darkness to rest!

Yep. They need some darkness as well as light. I have mine connected to smart outlets and timed to turn on and off with the sunrise/sunset.

I run my grow lights 8-12 hours a day. 12-15 would give optimal growth, but I need to decrease the time I spend watering. 8 hours a day gives my plants enough to stay alive and healthy. I run the lights from noon to 8 or around there. When I used to run for 12 hours, I tried to make sure they all went off by 9:30pm. I also have ALL 25 of my grow lights on timers and I got rid of all of the lights that couldn’t be automated!

Mine range in run time from around 12 to 16 hours per day, between 7 am and 11 pm. Plants that need more light get the longer run-times.

I run mine 12 hours during the day from 6-6. Some people run them overnight. I feel like plants need dark to rest.

Wow! Okay now I need to add more time to my grow lights! I have them only 8-9 hours a day. I have 2 SANSİ bulbs hanging from the ceiling covering just about all the plants. They grow very well now, but nothing crazy. Now I'm excited to see if they'll grow even more.
