can i repot my hoya while it's in bloom? it's been in this pot for over a year and a half and i can tell it needs more space. it also likes to bloom for months at a time, so i could technically wait, but I'm impatient.

Just came here to say your Hoya is STUNNING!!! What are your secrets?!
2 gillningarwell thank you. honestly i don't really have any secrets. i water when the leaves start to get wrinkly, he sits in a south facing window, i try to fertilize with a balanced fertilizer every 2nd or 3rd watering, and otherwise i just let him do his thing.
2 gillningarIt's best to replant at the beginning of the growing season but as you said you typically would not want to replant while it's in flower. You may lose a few flowers but since it's been so long I would say go for it. And I agree that's a beautiful specimen.
1 gillaalright, I'll give it a shot, thank you.

Also where is this trellis from?? 🥰🤗❤️🪴🎉
1 gillahonestly i can't remember, I'm sorry. it's plastic and if i recall correctly it came from our local nursery in a different plant's pot.
1 gillaI love your trellis 😍
1 gillaIs that a Lacunosa or Krohniana? It’s hard to tell from the photo. Technically, you can repot it , but, I would wait until spring as recommended because it’s not under any stress by the looks of it. Both the Lacunosa and the Krohniana are prolific bloomers. It is hard to find a time when they are not blooming to repot.
1 gillait's a krohniana. I've already repotted it so i hope it doesn't take too much of a beating. i just kept noticing that the leaves would get wrinkled every week, so i was watering more regularly than I'm comfortable with. i really hope i didn't mess this guy up.
1 gillaIt should be ok. Hoyas are resilient.
