My sister has a tomato plant and found this on her soil and started freaking out because she thinks it’s mold?? Does someone know what this fuzzy little white thing starting to appear is?

    Hard to tell from the picture. My first thought was it looks like husky fur that blew into the pot 😂

    It might just be a harmless white fungus. I forgot the name. It usually spawns in healthy soil. I wouldn’t be too worried. But if it’s stressing her I’d just repot to be safe.

    It looks like a mold. But it's more than likely harmless. Have her spray the soil with peroxide once a dat for a few days, it will kill it.
