Saved these two babies from Walmart today! Gave lots of TLC and they’re definitely happier now. These photos are what they looked like once I got them home before any love was provided! I can’t wait to see how they grow and mature 😌

Fergie77Oh goodness! Is the other one a zz!? Those poor babies just drowning away until you came along 🩷☘️ I have very high hopes for these guys! The new growth on the dieffenbachia is beautiful!

Yes it’s a ZZ! Poor thing had SO MUCH root rot and one of the “potato’s” had even started to rot. I’ve never had either plant so I’m very excited for new growth!!

I have a zz and I can tell you they love to be rootbound! Put her in a tinier pot if you can!! I’ve had my zz in the same pot for 2 years and she shoots off new growth all the time!!

Oooo good to know thank you!!! I am working on getting smaller pots. This is the 6” she came in and I don’t have anything smaller at the moment.
