Can my Venus Fly Trap sit in a water pot? i saw something saying it should be in water 24/7 but i'm not sure and it's my first time having one. Something like this but way smaller

I have a few and you probably shouldn’t because they can very easily get over hydrated

What people mean is they should be in a carnivorous plant mix (basics: 50/50 organic perlite and long-fiber sphagnum moss, no additives), and grab a saucer and fill with cleaned water (distilled, reverse osmosis, or rainwater), then place the pot in the saucer, and the saucer shouldn’t be empty for long periods of time.

I saw a YouTube video on it recently, it’s such a good resource to see how people’s plant setups are
