Does anyone have any suggestion for this? I repotted this plant over a week ago in an effort to get rid of the ridiculous amount of gnats it brought into my house (which worked great), but now it is yellowing and turning brown on the ends. I already had to pull several leaves off. Not sure where I went wrong. Thanks in advance!

Could be transplant shock, could be over or under-watering. Never hurts to check the roots.

What do I look for when checking the roots?

Taking the plant out of the pot and looking at the roots to see if they are healthy. If it’s overwatered the roots will be soft and flimsy, rotten. If underwatered, the roots would be dry and shriveled. If neither of these is the case you can cross over/under-watering off, and assume transplant shock.

yellowing leaves is usually a watering issue. how often do you water her?

I washed the roots to make sure the bugs were all gone, and then gave it a little water after repotting it in new soil, but aside from that I was only watering it less than once a week and it was doing great. After repotting, it immediately started going downhill.

It could just be going through some shock after the repot. Watering once a week might be too much especially in winter when there’s less light. That’s likely why there were so many gnats in the soil too - they love that wet/damp environment. check the soil before you water next time and make sure the top inch of soil is dry. and if it is, you need to thoroughly water it, letting the water come out of the drainage holes.
