Thinking about a question a fellow Planta user asked a few weeks back, about how those of us with large collections manage it without getting overwhelmed. Am realizing I have learned to not procrastinate the small stuff that I see needs done. When I started getting overwhelmed in the past, I was feeling like everywhere I looked there was something that needed to be done… That plant needs some soil topped off, i gotta make more fertilizer water, that plant needs to be trimmed and pruned, that plant needs its leaves cleaned, ooo i gotta move that plant cause its getting too much or too little sun, etc etc. I started making a list in my head and had so many things on it… it starting getting overwhelming. So i started just doing each thing as I discovered it, immediately, rather than waiting, and found most things only took a minute or two to do, and made me feel way less overwhelmed. Also since you can’t make to do lists on the planta app with a lot of those little things, its too hard to remember those little things as you are watering. So anyway, take action and be done! No more procrastinating! Your plants will thank you. 🌿💞

I agree 100000000000%. The difference is always noticable when I procrastinate. And then I get upset because my plant looks sad and I have no one to blame but myself. One way I like to use Planta is every couple of days I sort the tasks differently. I choose between grouping by site or grouping by task. When I change it up, it doesn't look so daunting. I also like to do all my progress updates and prumimg at the start of my plant chores so I can complete those from my list. Then the number of tasks drops a bit and that usually gives me the motivation to keep going. Great post!
