Hey guys! This is my first time owning a bonsai and mine is starting to get a littleeee crazy🤣 Does anyone have any advice on pruning? Or should I just let it get bushy? Lol any advice is very appreciated!🪴💕

    What kind of bonsai? There’s many different species that are bonsai’d. Do you have a photo?

      Not the best picture but I took this about a week ago. It’s a ficus tea tree bonsai:)

      I have one of those. I'm trying to bonsai mine properly as well. I've been watching YouTube videos on how to do it and they've been very helpful. There is an art to it. They call a bonsai a "composition," so they do actually treat them like art pieces.

      If you let it grow wild and bushy it's not a bonsai. It's just a bush.
