I donā€™t understand what Iā€™m doing wrong with this Black Velvet Alocasia! The leaf is losing color?? Any ideas? Soil is damp but not wet.

      Hello! Yes I think it is, do you think itā€™s because itā€™s flowering?

      I hear flowers take a lot of energy from the plant and they were already prone to yeeting old leaves for new ones. Unless youā€™re gonna pollinate, you might want to chop the bloomā€¦

    More light. And let the top inch of the soil dry out before watering. They donā€™t actually like to be constantly moist. Let it breathe a bit more. Even better yet change that soil to an airy aroid soil mix.
