My Calathea is doing really well I think! Theres alot of new leaves coming in (like 8 or so) but all the older ones are a bit droopy now and not really going all the way up and down. Is this normal since its focused on the new growth?

If there is still new growth then you should be fine. I’m not too familiar with Calathea but my alocasias drop their older leaves when new ones are coming in! This is also a good time to fertilize. But I would just do a quick search to see if it’s the same with Calathea. Good luck!
0 gillningarThanks! I actually noticed the new sprouts when i fertilized about a week+ ago! Now one is unfurled and another almost and so many more to come. But this morning i actually pruned one it got yellow. I guess I'll just follow its lead. I'll prune when they die but let them droop while they still look otherwise healthy. Feel like its just tired from so much simultaneous growth

Definitely! It takes a lot of energy to unfurl 8 new leaves! I heard these babies are very finicky (which is kind of why I’m deterred from getting one) but congrats on your thriving baby!
