My very first plant! Any advice or tips? would be very much appreciated. 🫶🏻 (was told it is a mixed succulent)

    They thrive in direct sunlight. If you do this, make sure the soil is moist, by sticking your finger in. When it feels dry, add water. Sprinkle ground cinnamon with no sugar, on the soil, only a small amount. It will act as a natural fungicide to prevent the plant from rotting, and kill any mold growth on the soil.

      Thank you. I should water every time the soil feels dry? Will it hurt or damage the plant if I lift the leaves to sprinkle the cinnamon?

      It might be best if you mix a pinch or two of cinnamon with water and water it with that.

    You should water it very rarely. Probably once a month. Succulents need to dry thoroughly and then they enjoy a good soaking. These plants are used to desert life where they rarely get rain but then get a good soak every so often. If you water too much the roots will rot and your plant will die. Most succulents store water in every leaf which is one of the reasons they are so drought tolerant.
