what a stunner! i got a very baby elephant ear and the biggest thing iāve learnt is that they love moisture, they really donāt like drying out but also hate being water logged!! my biggest advice would be to water when advised by planta, mist every once in a while (or use a pebble tray) as they like humidity, donāt let the soil dry out and make sure the pot has good drainage. as for soil, iād recommend using 2 parts house plant potting mix and maybe 1 part moss peat to retain moisture. iād recommend letting it settle into its new environment before repotting (unless itās quite heavily root bound) iāve found most of my plants have been okay in their nursery pots until they begin to outgrow them so unless thereās a reason i wouldnāt worry about repotting just yet. they also like bright indirect light, i usually measure that by if i could read a book easily in that space, they can tolerate some direct morning sun but theyāre definitely prefer bright indirect light. hopefully this is helpful, iāve only been a plant mom for about a year and can only offer what iāve learnt so far <3
