So last May I bought a 1ā pot with a China doll seedling. There were 6 teeny plants and only one has survived. It is growing well but since this is the first time I have had one Iām not sure if everything is alright. My grandfather had a rather large one that was really full so that is what I am used to seeing but it was a mature tree. This one keeps sending out new branches from the main stem on the top but every time they get super leggy. Just recently it has started pushing growth from the main branch at the bottom of the plant and āfilling itā but it just seems a very odd way to grow. I have it on a table under a grow light in my kitchen it gets a small amount of filtered sunlight from a window with a covered porch outside but the light is on about 18 hours a day. Does anyone have experience with these plants? It gets regular watering and fertilizer and misting. Am I doing something wrong or is this how they normally grow?
