That part is prob dead. Don’t know why. I know some of those plants like humidity and if the humidity isn’t high enough, new leaves have trouble unfurling and it may just have been stuck and died
1 gillaMine did the same thing and I think it was due to moisture getting trapped within the stems/ sheath from watering. Or like JR said it would also be due to their high humidity needs
1 gillawater got trapped in the leaf and rotted it. can be a sign of root rot.
1 gillaThrips cause a lot of new leaves to come out damaged. Make sure to check every square inch of the tops and bottoms of every single leaf, new and old. They’re extremely small and difficult to find. I just saw a video on instagram from an influencer that went over thrips and it was pretty cool to learn but scary that they can be so difficult to find.
