NAURRRR praying that the rest of the leaf survives, it’s probably due to a lack of sunlight or because I covered it in sphagnum moss when it was a bit smaller cause I thought it would help?? It doesn’t seem to have spread the rest of the way down, just that bit so hopefully the rest id the lead will be fine

Time to propagate and salvage or will she make it?
My monstera of 4+ years recently was repotted and when we were giving the roots a little shower she lost half of her root system, so we trimmed some of the leaves off to even it out, but now it’s been three weeks and I just noticed mold?? I thought she was just in shock but by the looks of the mold probably not and the base of the stem is starting to turn black. I watered it for the first time since reporting it on Saturday.
Its mix of soil is ocean forest, perlite, spaghum moss, and orchid bark. I don’t want to lose my baby and would rather attempt to save as much of her as possible.

I am new to this group and new to house plants. I am having issues with little tiny flying bugs. They are like the size of fruit flies. Anyone know what they are and what I can do to get rid of them?

Does anyone know why my plant suddenly has 2 yellow leaves? It grew a new leaf with a brown spot so I thought that was weird too. Help. I keep her in my bathroom

Let’s try this again

Hi all! I recently got this plant (Dracaena Rikki - also called a corn plant?) from PlantVine. The third picture is from when they shipped it (Sep 27), the second is when it arrived at my house (October 2), and the first is what it looks like today.
I had Planta diagnose it and it said it was under watered, so I watered it and now it says it’s overwatered. It’s obvious to me that it’s dying (quickly), but I can’t figure out what’s wrong. It’s in a south facing window at an ambient temperature inside.
Any advice? It’s a beautiful plant that I would love to save.

Hi! I got gifted this massive peace lily but it’s leaves are all brown and crunchy on the edges, does anyone know what could cause this and how I could fix it?

Hello all! My wife and I recently went on a trip to Europe for 2 weeks and I had my sister watering my plants. I believe I had her watering them a bit too frequently and my lavender plant ended up with powdery mildew. I have been spraying it 1-2x per week with neem oil, however it seems to have decimated the lower half of the plant and it continues to ascend.
Should I just keep spraying it weekly and hope for the best? Maybe cut off all of the remaining leaves/stems and help it restart?

Hi guys, I need help. The squirrels keep getting into my pants. They've killed 3 plants so far despite my moving them. It needs to safe for dogs too. Any suggestions?

The Hand (Opuntia Crest “Rollercoaster”) caught cooties from the dumb Golden Torch I took a chance on with a newish local shop. Honestly, the “pests, diseases and problems” part of this is another department, meaning I’m upstream in the development cycle with my soils and endless structural tweaks to habitats. This is still a pretty new operation.
(I didn’t catch this happening because the hair and texture of the plant camouflaged it.)
I started the cleanup process before, unfortunately, seeing the future of quarantine and how losing anything else was going to make yesterday’s bad day into a physical and mental disaster.
Would you hardcore folks have tried to save it? Note that it’s only three inches tall.
I really liked The Hand, but onward. Farewell little alien high five.

Can someone confirm or deny this is root rot. I moved it to a smaller pot because I haven’t been seeing much growth. If it is root rot, how can I save it?

Hi everyone! This is my friends plant in her apartment! She has it currently placed in front of south facing windows. She’s not sure what’s wrong with it. Any suggestions?

Brown needles on Norfolk pine! I have 4 pines in this pot. I just started last summer - the pot is too large and the plants are planted way too deep. Despite this, 3 of them are doing well. Lil Timmy has some stunted growth and brown needles - I cut it’s brothers who were taking all his light and reduced watering. Any other suggestions?
