Hi everyone! My poor strawberry begonia is feeling pretty sad. I was ready to throw her in the garbage…took her out of the pot and found a slug…is that what might have been killing her? I have no idea where he came from. All my plants stay indoors. She was so healthy when I got her months ago and she’s been dying a slow death. ā˜ ļø Is there any hope for her or do I cut my losses. For as many new leaves she produces just as many or more die off.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice on this fella. He’s giving me a run for my money and seems to be quite the dramatic fellow. One minute he looks dead the next he is thriving like crazy! I’ve noticed we’re in the dead stage again 🤣 with some yellow leaves/brown tips and drooping. I’m thinking it’s overwater or light issue but I’m curious if you guys think of something else.

WHOA 😩 I just took this Easter Cactus down from the shelf to water and it exploded leaves everywhere. I haven’t changed any routines, but could this be from the heat wave?? We don’t have AC in this room so it was nearly 90 last week. Gonna try to prop them but dang. Advice welcome!!!

Trying my hand at keeping houseplants alive after some luck with a random plant my daughter got and I managed to keep it alive. I got a gorgeous Elephant Ear and transplanted to a larger pot immediately after. I’ve been keeping it (inside) by my back sliding door as that is the area that receives the most sun. Played with watering a little more vs. a little less after the first couple of yellowing leaves. The pot has ample drainage, so I know it’s not retaining all the water it receives. I’ve gotten quite a few new tiny leaves since transplanting, and it looks like I have another large stem that will be unfurling soon, but the overall health of this plant is going downhill. I attributed the first couple of yellowing leaves to transplant shock and trimmed them away. I recently went out of town for the weekend (watered Friday before leaving… back by Monday) and came back to several yellowing leaves. I’m a complete beginner at this and I would appreciate any help I can get! FYI the plant was just moved to the back patio at the time of posting in an attempt to give it some more light… but it’s current location has no correlation to the plants current condition.

Does anyone know why these little brown strands are coming out of the stem of my succulent and what I could do to help it?

Please help with my cherry tomato plant. The leaves are dry, and it kept getting worse. I thought is root rot so I let the soil dried out and it became worse so now I’m watering the plant every day in the morning, but it doesn’t get significantly better is being getting worse since I got this plant. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Hi! I got this San Pedro cactus not too long ago and recently noticed this yellow fungus looking thing in the soil. I googled but can’t seem to find exactly what it is. Any idea if this is harmful and/or best way to get rid of it? Thank you!

Can I get some help with this fire storm sedum? I got it in February and it was a lovely orange color. It quickly faded to green and I’ve been trying to figure out how to get it back to its original color but without luck. I’ve read that color can be affected by not enough light and too regular watering. I’ve got it in a 2.5ā€ pot with drainage and in cactus/succulent mix soil and I let it dry out all the way before watering, and I top water until it is throughly drenched and coming out the drainage holes. I moved it from another room with medium low indirect light to this a little greenhouse under a grow light on the brightest setting for 12 hours. I don’t think I can give it more sun than it is getting. The greenhouse window is propped open so it doesn’t get too much humidity. What else can I try?

Please help me save my baby 😭 I got him from my dad’s funeral in May 2023 and it’s breaking my heart that he’s not doing well. I already lost one of the stems in a similar way. Not sure what’s happening here. The soil is still moist- my toddler gave him extra water last week šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø. I keep him in a well lit area

Hey there! Anybody know what’s going on with my spider plant? It seems to have some pretty bad burn scars and scratch like areas in the leaves, at first I thought it was it was getting to much sun so I moved to a spot that gave more indirect light. It is still burning unfortunately, does anyone know what might be the cause?

Alright so I went on 4 day vacation and of course my problem child decided it was going to act up. When I came back (last week) I watered her, but I overwatered her and now she isn’t doing so well. I’m pretty sure she’s gonna die but she’s pushing out some new leaves (she lost a bunch, they just fell off). I put her in the sunlight to try and dry her out a little bit and I’m gonna try and repot her since she’s a little root bound. Any other advice or should we just say our goodbyes now?

Hi, writing about two issues with my plants. I own a Wild Strawberry and a Squash plant and both have shown signs of discolouration and drying on leaves. Is it normal + how can I fix it if not? See photo attached

Is it just me or are spider mites seeking to dominate the world this year? I think I eradicated them in my flower garden finally but all over the neighborhood I see them 😱

Hey! Looking for advice regarding my pink nerve plant. It was very healthy a few weeks ago but since has dropped majority of its leaves. I’m currently going longer than the Planta watering recommendations by a few days to ensure it’s dried out between watering. And I have moved it to a brighter spot in hopes that will help encourage some regrowth 🄺

Hi all, I’m in search of help regarding my trailing jade. I’ve had it for about a month now and have noticed a few sections of it have fallen off appearing to be dead but at the top there looks to be lots of new growth. I live in a basement apartment so it doesn’t get a ton of sunlight but it is kept quite close to the window as shown in the photo Any tips + tricks + suggestions would be very welcomed!

does anyone know what this is in the soil of our Alocasia Zebrina? we’re practically still only just getting started in our journey of caring for lots of plants in our new home so would appreciate some help. I know it’s very dry right now, we noticed yellowing leaves so have been trying to figure out watering so let her dry out a little incase of over watering! Thankyou!
