Alright so I went on 4 day vacation and of course my problem child decided it was going to act up. When I came back (last week) I watered her, but I overwatered her and now she isn’t doing so well. I’m pretty sure she’s gonna die but she’s pushing out some new leaves (she lost a bunch, they just fell off). I put her in the sunlight to try and dry her out a little bit and I’m gonna try and repot her since she’s a little root bound. Any other advice or should we just say our goodbyes now?

You could always try to pull the whole root ball up and let it dry out of the pot for a while!

Some plants don’t actually need their leaves to completely survive. of course eventually they will to process the water and carbon to produce oxygen and glucose. If the roots are healthy and well I would recommend focusing on more root growth and maintaining those roots so your plant can push out newer leaves. I’ve done so with my black velvet :D although it can be risky. If the leaves fall out (which they probably will) try to promote root growth and health.
