Anyone have any special tips for goldfish plants? It was a dream list plant that I ordered from a plant shop that I shop at but is two hours away. They sent me a 4 inch that unfortunately isnāt very bushy yet. It has a good root system that appeared to be healthy, but only about seven small springs of foliage that is slowly loosing leaves. It does have new growth and I repotted it into a much better draining soil and pot with more drainage but a couple weeks later I see no improvement. Itās still slowly loosing leaves and not absorbing water, which Iāve heard they arenāt very thirsty plants due to the leaf structure. The roots didnāt appear to have any root rot and Iāve been waiting for the soil to completely dry. Iām not sure what else to do for her, Iām afraid to give her dry soil for fear of repot shock because Iāve heard theyāre finicky. I also canāt find any evidence of pests and I did my regular pest treatments in quarantine for a couple weeks as well. š« Help, she mustnāt die on me!
My pothos has some yellowing leaves. Help me please.
My ZZ has two more babies omg Iām having so many babies thanks Lord, I donāt know what that yellow and red thing in the center is it looks like a ladybug šš
My happy healthy Jacklyn has some yellowingā¦. Itās on its lowest 2 leaves so Iām guessing itās age related? If itās lack of light then Iām screwed as the suns setting by 4pm here in the UK atm š©
Seeking advice about this lucky bamboo I have here; itās been doing fine for about a year in this pot, however, I think I left it out near my window for too long and it got too much sun exposure? It started getting better at first after I removed it from the window, but I think itās getting worse now and I donāt know what the black dots are. Any help appreciated!
New plant mom here š. I'm not really sure what type of plant this is, but I'm assuming it's a pothos. I took her to a plant house and they told me I was underwatering and they changed the soil. But she is not getting any better. She was on the window but I got growing lights and put it there. She is still getting worse. Does anyone know what I can do?
My snow queen pothos got root rot so I reported but its doing significantly worse now in the proper sized pot. Anyone have any idea why or any recommendations??
H!!! This group has been a lot of help so far and I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on what i should do about my pink princess. Sheās recently been growing lopsided and I would really like it if she was bushier and more full. Should I cut off the long limb and try to propagate it or leave her as is?
What is going on with my plant? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
My monstersa is having difficulty and I am stumped. The lower leaves are turning yellow and increasing. I have been following the plant a schedule but I am doubting the accuracy. I had it outside; I live in North Central, Florida, on my screened porch. It is all indirect light. The leaves began turning yellow out there, but slowly. We recently had a cold snap so it is inside in a north facing window with a grow light 18ā away. I have been spraying it. The plant schedule allowed it to dry out too much so I am now testing the soil myself. The leaves are turning yellow more quickly though!! Just found the cause, bugs. Any ideas as to what it is, how to treat it, and ongoing care? I deeply appreciate any help!
Okay what am i doing wrong lol this plant is so dramatic š©
Is it safe to spray a plant very heavily with alcohol, like completely douse it? One of my moms plants has mealy bugs and she's about ready to give up.
I have a Chinese money plant that has recently dropped a lot of leaves and has bleached/browning leaves. I water her almost every 7-10 days and I have her pretty much touching a south facing window. I donāt think Iāve fertilized her for about a year. I see people saying that itās a thrip infestation or other types of bugs but I honestly see nothing that even remotely looks like that on the leaves. Then there are people saying itās a fungal infection which is more believable, while others say itās too much water and fertilizer. She also has a lot of pups popping. If anyone can help with this please comment!
I recently moved my rubber plant from a different room, and over time the leaves on the lower half of the plant have fallen off, is it possible to cut everything down to the base and start fresh?
My rosemary has this fuzzy white stuff on some of the leaves and stems. What is it and how do I get rid of it??
My ficus Audrey has lost lots of leaves and grown really tall!! Is it possible to cut the stem and propagate with water to replant and maybe it will grow fuller?
Just a little reminder to check on ur plants a lil more, cause as it gets colder and the heating gets cranked up, they may dry out faster. :)
help! my once lovely pink aglaonema is dropping leaves daily, i repotted her about two weeks ago as I notice root rot in the initial pot, but she's been miserable since š. what am I doing wrong?
