My sage plant has been having some issues, some of them have been turning brown. At first it was just bits of it but now it’s taking over leaves and they keep drying out and turning brown. I looked it up on google and said that it was about temperature. How do I fix this? Update: My leaves are turning soft and droopy :,>

HELP. Meet Rubes🐍🪴 (named after my step-dad’s grandma, Ruby, who was the first owner of this plant!) What’s wrong with Rubes? I just got it after my pawpaw passed, I think my family might have over watered it on accident before giving it to me, but maybe she needs more light? I’ve had her for almost a month and only watered her once myself. Obviously thinking she needs to be repotted, lol but I am scared to because this plant has been in the family for 100 years. HELP. I don’t want to mess up Rubes!! 2 tips are brown and 2 different leaves have these dry, brown spots. Xoxoxoxo.

I have my triostar in my living room with two south facing windows but it’s about 8ft from the closest window. At first I had it about 16ft but it the back of the plant looks like the pictures below. I brought it closer and it seems to be doing better but does this seem like a light or watering issue? I’ve been trying to water when I feel the top 1.5 inch of soil is dry.. which seems like it is frequently earlier than the app recommends… The pot is only about 4 inches

This is the second plant this has happened to at my house. It’s a powdery white residue. It started randomly on a echeveria/succulent I had for multiple years and completely killed it. A couple months later I got this begonia and it started on it too. I’ve used a spray to kill it, but it won’t go away and keeps getting worse. I haven’t seen it on any of my other plants, just those two.

What is going on?! I watered this yesterday and I pulled on this little guy and literally just snapped off… the rest of the plant looks good and has new growth. I would pull it out to see what the roots look like but I’m scared where it’s cold outside that it will go in shock

I noticed my Thai con monstera developing large brown spots on the variegated portions of the leaves, and after some investigating I also discovered dusty looking brown patches and a few thrips 😭 Any tips on how to get rid of them? I’ve tried a houseplant insecticide that seems to help temporarily but after a day or so the thrips are back. I’ve seen them on two other plants as well and have been treating all 3 together in isolation. Is there anything else I can do? :( The first pic is before damage when it was thriving and the rest are current. I also carefully trimmed away any brown portions of the leaves.

LAVENDER S.O.S. — OK… I’m just gonna ask. This is a lavender I’m trying to bring back to life. I overwatered it. I repotted and added blood meal and some plant food to the soil and have been many days without watering for moisture to go away. The roots were blocking the old pot hole so it wasn’t draining properly. It looks very dry but I could see the healthy vein when I repotted. Do you think I have a chance? Is it true that you only water it once a month? Could a water meter help me? Thanks in advance. I’m praying over it 😐

This plant is at my public library and it is sooo sticky! Covered in what looks like corn syrup. It also has these little of white dots on it to… my thought is scales, any ideas?

My bird’s of paradise is starting to get little brown flaky spots along the border of its leaves, it’s also showing little holes in it and lots of the leaves are splitting down the middle. I know it’s not under watered because I literally watered it 3 days ago, could it be overwatered? Is it getting too much sun? Is the fan in my room drying it out? The pot doesn’t have drainage holes because it’s huge and I keep it in my room… I don’t know what to do

This is my first time owning a baby rubber plant (peperomia obtusifolia) and I wasn’t sure if this would become a bigger problem or if this is just contained to one leaf?

I’ve had my trusty ZZ for close to 5 years now. It seems to be pretty happily neglected and has put off 4 new shoots recently. Somewhere along the way, my cat decided it would be a tasty snack so in addition to some leaf damage, I’ve started noticing some dark spots along some of the older stems. Is the from the cat attack or age related? Something else, maybe?

Hello! I think this plant I got for Valentine’s Day might have a fungal infection. Dr planta said that was the correct answer. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Luckily, if it is a fungal infection it shouldn’t spread because this is my only plant in the kitchen. How would I treat it? The affected leaves are almost soggy, and the rest of the plant is healthy.

My stromanthe triostar has unfurled a new leaf - but many of the rest look miserable. I’m in Minnesota, it gets some bright indirect light, I keep her misted, and she has good drainage. Soil is very dry. More water?

Any ideas on why my neon philodendron is getting these really dark leaves? First pic is when i first got it, later pics are today. Last pic is the leaves that actually still appear neon.
