I’m seeing white bumps on my basil stems after repotting them from a click and grow. Are they edema? The bumps seem too close to each other to be root nodules
PLEASE HELP my bonsai is really unhealthy any one got ideas for what it do and what’s wrong with it
Any suggestions for what might be wrong with my rattlesnake plant? It has been healthy for over a year and has now developed these brown spots with some brown edges. My first thought is a fungus infection maybe rust. I completely cut off the worst leaves and trimmed the browning areas off of some others. I then treated all the remains leaves with fungicide and moved the plant back to an east facing location from its current westerly location. Any other ideas? This is one of my favorite plants and has always been healthy.
Hi all! New group, app, and plant person here! I have a great friend helping me but work is busy so it’s been difficult to plan plant nights! - I have 2 grow lights and mist serval times daily (a humidifier is coming). - A few babies have a bright yellow leaf and a drooping leaf or some dropping stems. - None have soil thats wet (squeeze and nothing, finger in and not wet), some I would consider moist, several are dry. - ALL plants have drainage and I make sure none sit in water - Concern = overwatering (Overwatering with dry soil—I could be overwatering WHEN I water [a gallon per plant versus a cup], not the frequency in which I am watering). Thanks in advance 🫶🏻
Hi. I live in zone 5. Did anyone tried to grow cuttings of citronella on white milk jugs and keep them in the garage for the winter? I think bc the container is white the plant will have enough light to grow?
Had this Ficus Microcarpa for almost a year with no issues until it started getting these weird brown dots on the leaves, about five of them. I cut them off, but could anyone tell me what’s wrong with them? This is my only plant so I’m pretty new to this whole plant thing.
Help! My parlor palm just doesn’t look right. What am I doing wrong? Pot is 4 inches Indoor potting mix soil Water once a week (when soil is dry about 1 inch deep) and mist occasionally throughout the week when it’s hot Indirect / direct light throughout the day
I have a bird of paradise given to me by a friend. The leaves are droopy and the leaf edges are always yellowing out! When I was a day 01 plant owner I made the mistake of cutting off those edges. What should I do for its healthy growth ? Help :(
These sad hydrangeas were planted by the previous owner and they keep getting black spots on the leaves. I usually remove the ones that are spotted and only water at the base, not on the leaves, but the spots keep coming back, and I don’t want to keep taking off all the leaves. Not sure what else I can do to help this guy out.
Hello. I have patches of this growing in my croton soil. I just see it in the soil and nothing on the leaves or stems of the plant. Is it mold? How do I get rid of it? Thank you!
I cannot, for the life of me, get the nats out of this monstera! Can someone offer any suggestions? So far, I’ve used plant spray for insects that is made with natural ingredients so they are safe for plants. But still bugs. I got knat traps. And those work a little but they still keep coming.
Hi! Anyone have any idea what’s going on with my orchid?
My elephant ear plant is turning yellow that recently moved inside and I’m on the east coast. I’m hoping she will become acclimated over time
Ok Planta people, do your thing What the heck is going on with my guy?! The little dots all over the one section of leaves are new, the bigger dry part and bigger dark spot are there from when I got him. (Ignore the dust- I’ve not had a chance to clean him lol)
Any tips on how to revive her? My mom rescued her for me
Hello! Im newbie here :). A few months ago, I got a bunny ear cactus. Some time ago, it started to fall backwards. These ears(?) are still growing and growing upwards, and i believe they look nothing like the pictures!! Plus the plant is now completely laying over the edge of the pot. I don't know what's wrong, and I don't know what to do about it. Does anybody know?
I got the black raven zz for plant about a month ago, and it’s been sitting in my window, and I’ve been following the watering advice. I just saw today that its leaves are yellowing. Planta says maybe overwatered or not enough light. Any suggestions? Help pls!
Hey, my Zebra plants outer spikes have started becoming yellow and then eventually shriveling up. I've moved it from my bookcase about a foot away from the window to right on the windowsill- I'm thinking it's a watering problem, but I'm not sure - help!!!
Hi all! I recently got a “Jumbo Alocasia” from Trader Joe’s that I believe is an Alocasia California. It had some yellow leaves when I got it and was incredibly root bound. So on a repotting day, I upgraded the soil to something more nutrient rich (Fox Farm Ocean Forest) and well draining (Perlite, Coco Coir, Orchid Bark) and gave it a pot that was two inches bigger (10 inches). I watered it immediately to help it transition. However, in the past few days the weirdest thing has happened! The leaves are yellowing but maintaining a green polka dot appearance. I’ve never seen anything like it. Is it a sign of transplant shock or overwatering? Possibly fungus? Any insight would be appreciated so I can help my plant recover! Thanks! 💙
