Unfortunate but my False Aralia has mealy bugs and Iâm just not dealing with it. I noticed over the last week that itâs looked more dry and has been droopy but I thought maybe it was lack of sun (itâs been really rainy near me). Its watering has been good. This morning I shook it a little as I normally do to release leaves that have fallen off, and I see one leaf looking like this. Did more checking and found them all over. I wasnât loving this plant anyway so instead of trying to treat, I threw it out lol annoying

Does anyone know what is wrong with my plant this is a new leaf and it seems like it's already dead.. I follow the instructions that the app gives me and I also do a little bit more research I try to follow everything exactly but I don't understand why it seems like it's slowly dying... if anyone has any ideas that would be amazing I need help..
Just put my swiss cheese from living in just a jar and water into a pot with soil. So far itâs not looking to good and itâs been a couple weeks. I keep the soil moist. Is it ok or am I just inpatient?
New poster to this forum. I have a severe case of insect scale (diagnosed by Planta Dr) on 3 indoor plants- a 8ft ficus, a 4ft umbrella plant and a 3ft Japanese aralia. (Photos added to show all 3.) What is the best treatment for all 3 plants, including recommended products and do I need to move them outdoors to treat?
I just noticed these spots on my corn plant. Theyâre only on a few leaves. What are they from and is there anything I can do to treat it? Iâm already using a systemic treatment on it.
First time house plant owner I just received this beautiful plant as a gift and now it looks like this. How do i reverse this? First i left it in the sun and i forgot about it. And then i might have over watered it as well. Please help me.
Hi community, would anyone know why this plant is getting brown tips ?
Iâm so angry. There wasnât a single spot on my leaves but I noticed she wasnât growing and a leaf tip started turning brown. MEALY BUGS⊠IN MY ROOT SYSTEM!?!? Sheâs but a humble cutting from a humble home AND YET THEY PESTER HER. the horror. The absolute terror. Iâm so maddddd.
Is there any hope for my red Star? Iâve had her for a year. She was outside over the summer which is probably where I went wrong đ€·đ»ââïž Iâm in northern NJ. All of her bottom leaves fell off, two new leaves popped out but they dried to a crisp before they were even full grown, and sheâs flowering. Girlâs seriously dramatic đ©
My cat got into my Aloe :( what should I do?!
This is Pete! Heâs some kind of mini palm. I got Pete from work where he wasnât doing very well, so I brought him home to try to help him recover. I trimmed off all the dead parts, but the new growth has been dry for a while now. I repotted him a couple of days ago and have been misting the leaves with water, as well as watering the soil every 3â5 days depending on how dry it feels. Iâm just looking for some advice â do you think he will survive?
I can not keep succulents alive to save my life. I have this golden sedum in a small terra cotta pot and water it based on the Planta schedule. It was good for a while, but over the last few months, the leaves turn watery looking and fall off. It was originally in a plastic pot and I repotted it in the terrible cotta one maybe a month ago. It is about two feet from a west-facing window, and I am in North American. Any thoughts?? I want to be able to keep them alive đ„ș
Looking for advice on what you all would do in this situation. This Alocasia belongs to my mom. She is pet sitting for a few weeks and gave me her plants that are toxic and ones she didnât want the dog to chew on. This is one of the plants she has me looking after and when I first got it, it had 2 leaves. One of them looked exactly like this one. I didnât do anything to the plant because my mom already specified that they all had been watered before I came to pick them up. Fast forward, that yellowing leaf flopped over and died after the first 3 days I had it. I let my mom know and I chopped it off. 1 leaf is left and now after having it for about 2 weeks, the last leaf is looking like itâs heading towards the same impending doom as the last one đ«© what should I be doing? What would you all do in this scenario? When I told my mom about the last leaf, she told me that she think it could have been overwatered and thatâs why I havenât watered it at all since Iâve gotten the plant. Now Iâm not so sure if that was the right thing to do ? Send help because Iâll feel bad if I return her plant completely bald đ€Šđ»ââïž
My little raindrop pepperomia is so sad :( Iâve tried to keep her watered and under my grow light but she just keeps getting droopier. I reveived her as a gift already in a bad state but sheâs gotten worse despite my attempts. I cut off some bad leaves a while ago to possibly help her use energy for growth rather than those leaves. Couldâve been a bad idea
What is wrong with my Evergreen? I keep using the app to diagnose it and it seems like under watering. Iâve tried to adjust it and still nothing has fixed it. Why are my leaves turning yellow? Theyâre not crispy theyâre just droopy and soft. Help I love this little guy.
hi there guys!!! my alocasia dragon scale has recently started turning yellow on the bottom leaves. Is there a way to fix this? thanks in advance :)
Hi everyone, Iâm really new to alocasiaâs and i know theyâre harder plants to care for. I have mine in a green house with high humidity and a grow light. Humidity stays around 75-85%. Iâm not sure what is going on with her leaves. Im not sure if itâs fungal or sheâs unhappy with lighting and humidity or if itâs just an older leaf dying off since sheâs pushing out a new one.
I donât know whatâs wrong with my peace lily. I watered it and now it is dying. I really want to keep it alive as I got it from my late granddads funeral, please help
Hello Iâve got a new plant, she is a peace lily, BIG MAMA. And Iâve had her about two weeks now donât know much about her she is my first. I noticed her leaves are starting to yellow. Why is this happening to her? And if anyone has any, should know care advice please let me know. Thank you đ
So im a new plant dad, and ive recently been trying to revive these carnivorous plants (2 venus fly traps and one trumpet pitcher plant) that i got for free, and i dont recall seeing these white spots in the soil/moss thing (see the zoomed in flytrap top left in the pot theres a new white spots along the edge). *Note- I think the spots have been spreading but it almost looks like a sort of lichen so thats why im trying to figure out if its good or bad.* The fly traps have made a considerable comeback from when i first got them and i really dont want them to get sick so if anyone knows anything about that please lmk, also if anyone could lmk how to help my pitcher plant stop wilting at the tips that would also be super helpful
