Had to cut off a few branches from my limelight hydrangea tree due to fall webworms. 😫 I then sprayed with neem oil to, hopefully, kill/deter any eggs I missed. Any other suggestions to help keep them away would be greatly appreciated!

This is about an hour after cutting my cactus that had root rot. It’s a little brown around the vasculature still - do I need to cut more? This is the second cut.
Help?! I’m a newbie to plant care & trying so hard to establish a green thumb but I’m clearly struggling! Does anyone have any suggestions on what’s wrong or what I can do to help this failing plants thrive? Currently trying to revive a spider plant, haworthiposis venosa, and a lemon lime.
is there any way i can keep a banana plant inside?? this is my second one ive had in the same spot but ive added a grow light since the first one. it seems to be doing the same thing tho, it only keeps three leaves the same way alocasias do, and every time i new leaf comes an old one dies. but the entire time most leave have some yellowing with browning the same way it looks with root rot (around the edges) but also random big spots on the leaves as well. i know it has pest as well so that is definitely a problem but honestly my plants usually have pests and don’t die. I live in canada so putting it outside in the ground isn’t an option. Any help is wanted thanks!!
HELP! Is my polka dot plant too dry??? Why is it wilting like this? The leaves feel super thin and sad
Are these soil mites? They’re actively crawling around the edge of the pot, with only one or two on the plant itself. In the photo, they’re actually crawling on the bottom of a yellow sticky trap. The plant looks healthy, without any signs of tissue damage or webbing. If they’re soil mites, I read they could be beneficial even?
Has anyone tried Systemica Insect Killer brand for spraying on plants? I don’t mean systemic. Systemica is the brand name.
Hii! I just got this Monstera Albo the other day off FB and it came with these yellow spots. They don’t seem to be spreading but I’m wondering if I should be worried? Or if I can just leave it be?
Strange sesame seed looking things growing from new nodes on Hoya Matilde Splash… found along with this lil bug. Both are very very tiny, about the size of a poppy seed. Lay it on me… how bad is it? 🙃
Need help id-ing this bug/pest. Just found it, and I haven’t added any new plants to my collection for a couple of months. I don’t see any damage but maybe that’s scale in the stem? It doesn’t seem sticky though. The bugs are walking around on the leaves. I treated with neem.
Does anyone know what am I doing wrong with this plant? It looks floppy.
What exactly are these and why are they on my plants? TIA
My son and daughter-in-law bought two Basil plants and want to keep them to use, not to mention they smell wonderful. One plant died within a week of repotting it. I have one picture from when I put Basil in a pot and some from today for comparison. Basil is doing well. There have been some leaves with brown or a brown spot, usually young leaves, so I removed them. I also checked it for leaf stems that were long and removed them as well. As I was checking for them, I was pleasantly surprised to learn new leaves sprout at the base of the leaf stem. I know next to nothing about Basil plants. I'm used to succulents that can go a long time between drinks. Basil plants need more water with damp but not wet soil. That's where my chicken is. I don't want him to end up with root rot. How do I know if he's getting too much water? When should I take off leaves if we don't use them? I'm carefully watching for buds so I can cut them off.
does anyone know what these dark leaves on this orchid are? should they be removed or can they stay? it hasn’t bloomed since it has been purchased and i was concerned ):
Was thinking scale was eating my plant, I’ve try soaking in house plant bug killer ultra , also mealy bug killer spray, insecticide soap and cut off loads of infected leaves, also moved away from other plants but it’s getting worse, no sign of pest, I’m going to try triple action neem oil with dr bronner’s peppermint all-one magic soap diluted in water and soak the plant after another good shower of all leaves, any idea what pest this is, soil has been changed to good quality soil ninja fern mix with extra perlite and bits, the plant did have a couple of these marks when I purchased it, first thing I did was good shower and soil change
Double post!! My tradescantia nanouk has been thriving but recently slightly yellow/ browning. Regularly water her, she’s in a spot that gets lots of natural light. What can I do. Thankyou in advance!
Hi plant people! Does anyone know what these strange white spots are on my Pepperomia plant? They are on quite a few of the leaves :(
My bulbs are finally sprouting so beautiful 🥰🥰
So I looked it up and said my soil is heathy and I should leave this little mushroom. Does anyone have experience with this mushroom? Should I add it to my plant list 👀
